The Chief Executive Officer of Nigercare, Dr. Mrs. Ijeoma Chinenye Ejike, participated actively in a Women Information Network engagement focused on strengthening women’s rights organisations in Nigeria for the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV).
Dr. Mrs. Ejike was in attendance at the session and contributed fully to the interactive discussions, sharing perspectives and engaging with other participants on strategies for strengthening the capacity and effectiveness of women’s rights organisations in addressing gender-based violence.
The interactive session provided an opportunity for stakeholders to exchange ideas, identify challenges confronting women and girls, and explore practical approaches to improving advocacy, prevention and support systems for survivors of gender-based violence.
The engagement underscored the importance of stronger collaboration among women’s rights organisations, civil society groups and other stakeholders in advancing women’s rights and building safer communities across Nigeria.
Mrs. Ejike’s participation further reflects Nigercare’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote women’s rights, strengthen advocacy and contribute to the prevention of gender-based violence in Nigeria.
